Fairhill's Distance Learning Plan
Dear Fairhill Families,
FCPS' Distance Learning program starts Tuesday, April 14. The FCPS Distance Learning Plan provides detailed information about what to expect. This page also includes a lot of information about what to expect as it pertains to our students at Fairhill.
Distance Learning Packets are being mailed to students in grades PreK-8. Don’t need to receive packets in the mail? Please consider opting out to go paperless. We acknowledge that distance learning cannot reasonably replace daily in-person instructional programs, and we will not be trying to replicate the regular school day.
At this point, everyone should have heard from their classroom teachers regarding student specific schedules. Again, see links below for grade level specific schedules:
For Direct Instruction and Office Hours, students should check their @fcpschools.net email to gain access to the Blackboard Collaborate Ultra link. Classroom teachers have sent an individualized invite to each student.
In addition to the classroom schedules noted in the grade level links above, please also see the specialists schedule located here. At your students assigned grade level times for direct instruction, please have students join the Blackboard Collaborate Ultra link within Blackboard 24/7.
Please also visit the Specialists Course in Blackboard 24/7 for more detailed information or if you are unable to join during your students assigned times. The lessons will be recorded and posted in Blackboard 24/7 for your convenience, so your student can watch at a convenient time for you.
