ESSER III English Language Arts Strategies

Outcome: Ensure students are making sufficient progress to be on grade level in English Language Arts.

Goal: By the end of the 2022-23 school year, 100% of students will unadjusted pass the 2023 Reading SOL.

By the end of the 2022-23 school year, 100% of K-2 students will be at or above grade level (in the green) on Spring 2023 Reading iReady

Strategy 1: Grade level teams will engage in CLT cycle to ensure appropriate support for all students’ success in reading.

Strategy 2: Teachers and interventionist will meet with identified students before and after school to provide extra support for students.

Strategy 3: Teachers will engage in targeted job-embedded professional development to support and meet the needs of students in reading.

ESSER III Math Strategies

Outcome: Ensure students are making sufficient progress to be on grade level in Mathematics.

Goal: By the end of the 2022-23 school year, 100% of students will unadjusted pass the 2023 Math SOL. By the end of the 2022-23 school year, 100% of students will be at or above grade level (in the green) on Spring 2023 Math iReady

Strategy 1: Grade level teams will engage in the CLT cycle to provide responsive support for all students’ success in mathematics.

Strategy 2: Teachers and interventionist will meet with identified students before and after school to provide extra support for students.

Strategy 3: Teachers will identify students by strength, by name and by need that are in need of additional support through MTSS.

ESSER III Wellness Strategies

Outcome: Ensure students feel safe, included, and supported in the school environment.

Goal: By the end of 2022-23, we will lower both tier 2 and tier 3 attendance concerns by 50%. This means that we will have 5 or less students in our tier 3 attendance concerns and 36 or less students in our tier 2 attendance concerns. By the 2023-24 Family Engagement survey, 90% of our families will indicate that Fairhill provides opportunities for them to connect with other families.

Strategy 1: Fairhill will have Responsive Classroom be our tier 1 behavior strategy implemented by all teachers.

Strategy 2: Fairhill will continue to refine our Wellness MTSS committee to ensure supports for academic, wellness, and attendance for all students.

Strategy 3: Fairhill will provide families an opportunity to connect with other families in both formal and informal ways.

ESSER III Access & Opportunity End of Year SMARTR Outcome

Goal: By the end of the 2022-2023 school year, the number of students identified as Young Scholars (receiving Level II AAP services or higher) will increase by 50% or higher reaching a total of 35 students.

Strategy 1: Fairhill AART will rotate through all classrooms teaching CCT Lessons in order to know students by name and by need.

Strategy 2: Fairhill Classroom Teachers will deepen their understanding of Gifted Behavior Rating Scale as a factor for recognizing potential.

Strategy 3: Fairhill staff will show understanding of the identification process for the Young Scholars Program.
