Congratulations to our school website and school-based technology specialist and web curator Mr. Stephen Giese. The Fairhill website was named one of three 2018 FCPS Best Elementary School Websites at this year's Web Curator's Conference.

Below is the write-up that was read as Mr. Giese received his award.

Mr. Giese maintains regular communication with his school principal and assistant principal about the Fairhill website. The shared vision between the three is evident. The school website is a wonderful snapshot of the school. Visiting the school's homepage evokes the same type of perception you would feel as if you were walking through the school’s front doors. The hero pics on the homepage serve as a revolving door for the joy one might experience as a Fairhill Tiger. The subpages of the site are rich with content, including an academics page that would make many adults jealous that their own elementary school experience doesn’t look as fun as it might be had they gone to Fairhill and an activities page that is broken into sections for fitness, leadership, and special interest.
